Vendor Spotlight: Hairstylist

As most brides know, your hairstyle will make or break your wedding day look so finding the best hairstylist is a must. It’s often hard to find a stylist who can recreate an exact hairstyle you found on Pinterest or who really gets your vision. So it’s important to find someone that you get along with and who can adapt their own style to match your personal preferences. I knew I wanted an updo to show off the back of my dress, but was afraid I was going to look straight out of a 90s prom, so I was very cautious and particular when choosing a stylist.

When I met with Liam Carey of Broom & Beauty we clicked right away and I knew he would create a chic and glamorous hairstyle for me on my wedding day. Even before booking, we did two trials and he genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy. Liam’s best tip was to get extensions as they make your hair appear thicker and up dos fuller. And sure enough he was right. At the second trial, with the help of some fake hair, he nailed the look I was going for and I booked him right away. On my wedding day, he and an assistant, did up dos and blowouts for my entire bridal party. It was a hot and humid day and he quickly fixed flatten blowouts after pictures with no problem.
