Vendor Spotlight: Makeup Artist

Finding a makeup artist to make you look and feel beautiful, especially on your wedding day, can be a challenge. There are so many artists in the NYC area, so it was difficult for me to pick a few I wanted to do trials with. I looked for hours and hours online at reviews on The Knot, WeddingWire and similar websites, but felt very overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. Reviews are great, but everyone likes their makeup applied differently and multiple trial fees are costly so I wanted to be sure that I was making the right decision.

I finally reached out to a few makeup artists with good reviews and narrowed it down to those who were within my budget and available on my date. One of which was Stacie Ford. At my trial, Stacie listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions on what she thought would be best for me. She did a fabulous job and right away I knew she was just the person I needed on my wedding day. She is extremely knowledgeable and her experience shows in her work. My makeup looked just as good when I was taking off my wedding dress as it did when I was putting it on. Stacie is truly talented and I couldn't be more pleased with how my makeup turned out.
