Venue Spotlight: Hunt & Fish Club
Last week we had the opportunity to check out one of NYC’s hottest restaurants. Hunt & Fish Club is a top-notch steakhouse located in Midtown Manhattan known for their impeccable service, lavish décor, and most importantly mouth watering food. Not only is this restaurant a great date night spot it’s also the perfect venue for any special event. With a modern, trendy, and intimate ambience their spaces are suitable for rehearsal dinners, showers, smaller wedding receptions, and corporate gatherings. Brides looking to have a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower with a cool vibe this is your go-to spot.
The main dining room called The White Room offers a glamorous feel and features a show stopping light fixture that we couldn’t get enough of. This semi-private room can accommodate 140 for a seated dinner and 250 for a reception style event. The other private rooms called The Green Room and The Blue Room hold roughly 25 and 75 people respectively. With marble, glass, and a contemporary feel we absolutely loved these two spaces. There is so much of a wow factor in the rooms that extra décor isn’t even needed to impress your guests.
The Hunt & Fish Club offers a variety of food & beverage packages and are very flexible to accommodate special requests. After our tour of the restaurant we sat down for dinner and tried some of their delicious food. But first, the bartender whipped us up their signature cocktail, the Metropolitan, which was a combination of stoli vodka, cranberry syrup, and lime. It was a light and refreshing drink to start off our meal. We then sampled their noteworthy and most popular dishes. Let’s just say everything was to die for! We loved it all, but if we had to chose, the scallops, stuffed lobster, and mushroom pappardelle were our favorites. After eating way too much, we were then persuaded into ordering not 1, but 2 desserts. The 24 layer chocolate cake was heaven and the vanilla bean cheesecake was in fact the best we’ve ever had.
The entire dining experience at Hunt & Fish Club was five star and we know any event we have at the restaurant will also be to this level.
